
Over a decade ago, experience and common sense where the most valuable tools for designing hydraulic circuits. The entry of the first simulation programs did not change much because the translation of hydraulic components into mathematical equations is a tough process. That changed with the arrival of conponent based modeling methods. The program 20-sim, which has been designed and released by Controllab, contains an advanced component based hydraulic library. This library can be used to create hydraulic models straight from the circuit diagram. This simplifies the analysis of hydraulic circuits considerably.
This method of analysis is demanded by contractors more en more. In an attempt to keep grip on complexe projects, they demand to validate the performance of hydraulic circuits before commissioning to build them. Controllab will take care of this analysis.
