Controllab welcomes two new interns, Ruben and Harold!

They will be part of our team until December. We are very excited to have them on board and look forward to sharing their final results with you.
Below, Ruben en Harold introduce themselves to you.

Meet Ruben,

“My name is Ruben and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Twente. I am now in my second year, during which I will complete a 14-week internship. Throughout my studies, I have developed an interest in control and dynamic systems, which is why I am excited to do my internship at Controllab.

During the internship, I hope to develop my knowledge of control and dynamic systems and their simulation furher, appying this knowledge to an interesting project: I will develop a training simulator for a crane, operating on a heavy lft vessel. I also hope to gain experience of working in a company and contribute to Controllab’s work.”

Meet Harold,

“My name is Harold. In the coming 14 weeks I will be doing an internship at Controllab where i will be appying the knowledge I gained during my master Robotics at the University of Twente to develop a dynamix model of a pre-piling template. Together with my fellow intern Ruben Peters we will be investigate how a crane vessel will lift and deploy the pre-piling template.

Over the next few weeks, I hope to lear how to develop a training simulator and demonstrate the use of digital twins. I’m eager to be a meaningful contribution during the internship at Controllab.
